Scarlett Johansson Set to Star in Andrea Arnold’s Enchanted Grove.

As Andrea Arnold wraps up work on her upcoming film “Bird” with actors Barry Keoghan and Franz Rogowski, she has already announced her next venture, a crime thriller based on a real-life story. Scarlett Johansson is set to star in Arnold’s latest project, as reported by ᴅᴇᴀᴅline.

She rose to prominence as a key informant for the FBI in a lengthy investigation into the violent neo-Nazi organization called the Aryan Brotherhood Of Texas. Living among the gang members, Blevins gathered crucial information, prevented crimes, and assisted in the prosecution of 13 individuals associated with the group. Despite her instrumental role, the intense experience took a toll on her well-being, leaving her with lasting physical and emotional trauma. She now lives in fear of retaliation from the ABT. While there is no set timeline for production, Johansson’s availability suggests that the project could move forward quickly if negotiations are successful at EFM.

Bruno Dumont, gearing up for the debut of his sci-fi film “The Empire” at the Berlinale, has already lined up his next project. Screen Daily has revealed that he will be directing “Red Rocks,” a film inspired by Romeo and Juliet and set in the sunny French Riviera. Production for this summer-set story is slated to begin this year.

A new project co-written by Trachtenberg and Patrick Aison is currently in the works, with casting already in progress and a shoot planned for later this year. While plot details have not been revealed yet, it is confirmed that a separate Prey 2 is also still in development. Whether the project will be released in theaters or on Hulu is still unknown.
